Following the successful premiere in Spain of the movie Garabandal, Only God Knows, its producer “Mater Spei” is already preparing its distribution outside of Spain. Although this film is being dubbed in English and Italian, and subtitled in French and Portuguese, this second phase of distribution is to begin in Latin America.
In this manner, Ecuador shall become the first country in the world outside of Spain where the movie Garabandal, Only God Knows is to be distributed. God willing, it arrives there on June 8, 2018, showing in the Cinext movie houses in the cities of Quito, Guayaquil and Manta. Following the premiere on June 8, the film shall go to all of those cities where there is a sufficient number of persons requesting the film via a request form available in our official web site.
The showing dates and times can be found shortly by accessing this link.
Garabandal, only God Knows, a film with scant financial resources for production and distribution, has already surpassed viewing in Spanish movie houses by over 30,000 moviegoers, and remains on the marquee since February 2nd when it first came out. The press office of Mater Spei has indicated that hopefully very soon the dates for featuring the film in various Latin American countries can be confirmed.
The official synopsis of the film is the following: “June 18, 1961. In a small village in the north of Spain called San Sebastián de Garabandal, four young girls – Conchita, Jacinta, Mari Loli and Mari Cruz – affirmed that St. Michael the Archangel had appeared to them. Days later, on July 2, 1961, they received a visit from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Subsequent to that encounter, there were more than two thousand encounters with the Celestial Lady. The parish pastor, Father Valentín and the head of the Civil Guard brigade, Don Juan Álvarez Seco, found themselves suddenly embroiled as protagonists in events that overwhelmed them, trying to understand where the truth lies, faced by a perplexed Church hierarchy and overwhelmed by a multitude that grew each day as more and more people came to the village in search of answers.”
