Garabandal, only God knows, the movie which narrates events about the reported apparitions in San Sebastián de Garabandal in Spain, continues to spread much joy wherever the movie is shown. After four weeks in the movie theatres of Mexico, there have been 81,323 viewers in 67 cities and 93 movie theatres in 32 Mexican states. Hundreds of volunteers have collaborated in numerous ways to achieve such wonderful results. To all of them, we express our most deep appreciation.
However, the important thing is not the number of people who have viewed this film, but the good that is being imparted to many souls. Testimonials continue to arrive, one after the other, and some of these have been truly inspiring. For example, there was the following comment made by Fernando Pérez on our YouTube channel: “The movie touched my heart very deeply. For me, this movie was “the warning.” After thirty years, I went to confession with my bishop and I am very happy. I received the most wonderful gift I could have imagined from Our Lord and Our Lady. But this cannot simply remain in sentiments, now it needs to be transformed into works. I do not want to reach the presence of God with empty hands.” And Emmanuel Trevizo, who traveled from the city of Cuauhtémoc to Chihuahua to see the movie, wrote the following to us via Facebook: “Without a doubt, the Blessed Virgin Mary is behind this movie. May we heed her message and return to her Son Jesus Christ. And let us believe, before it is too late. I traveled two hours to see the movie and I did not regret it. God and Mary gave me much.”
The very same day when the movie Garabandal, only God Knows ceased being shown in Mexico, it began being shown in Puerto Rico in five strategically located cities throughout this beautiful Caribbean island: San Juan, Ponce, Mayagüez, Arecibo and Fajardo. The results have been spectacular. In only ten days there have been more than 8,000 movie viewers in a population of over three and a half million inhabitants. And a fact that fills us with hope is that 22% of these moviegoers were young people under 18 years of age. Soraya Sesto-Martínez, coordinator of the exceptional group of volunteers, commented as follows a few days ago: “Garabandal, only God knows, has been a success, and for this reason is remaining on the Island for an additional week. Although it is being shown in only five movie theatres, it has surpassed the average attendance for commercial movies. Let us intensify our efforts and prayers.”
But that is not all. In the next few weeks we will be able to confirm the dates for the premiere of the movie in at least seventeen new countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Bolivia, the United States, Canada and Ireland. While at this point there are only seventeen, no doubt there will be more because Our Lady is anxious to reach all corners of the planet to communicate her messages that have been silenced for so long. We have provided her with a vehicle to disseminate them, and she herself is the one who opens the doors and prepares the promotional campaign.
Truly, Garabandal, only God knows, is in the forefront of current events. Books are published and news articles are released. Even the taxi drivers in Cantabria, the region where the small village of Garabandal is located, have taken notice. They readily acknowledge that currently, their main source of income is derived from rides to Garabandal, given the increase in pilgrims who wish to visit that remote village in the mountains of Cantabria. No one can deny that Garabandal, only God knows, with more than 130,000 movie goers who have seen the movie to date throughout the world, has been the principal reason for the resurgence of interest in Garabandal.
May Our Mother transmit her blessing through this movie.
