Garabandal, Only God Knows, is the first movie for the big screen whose topic relates to the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in San Sebastián de Garabandal, Spain. The movie, which was undertaken and distributed by volunteers, has already been seen by over 130,000 moviegoers in Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Ecuador.
It is important to note that Garabandal, Only God Knows does not pretend to anticipate the judgment of the Church. The movie presents what any witness who came to Garabandal in those years would have seen. It allows the viewer to make up his or her own mind on the basis of his or her evaluation of what took place there. This is explained, for example, by Teresita Heydrich of Puerto Rico: “I was anticipating a movie like so many others about Marian apparitions, in which the facts were presented, but also with a little bit of fiction. I was pleasantly surprised, as I saw this movie that recreated very faithfully, the words that I once read in a book about Garabandal. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie about Garabandal that was so precise and real, represented in a very genuine and honest manner. The result, after seeing the movie and revisiting once again the very powerful message given by the Virgin Mary, was an enormous sense of peace when I left the movie theater.”
Some may ask, why should I see the movie? The answer is because already in the 1960s, before all the scandals on the part of some members of the Catholic Church, before many Catholics lost faith in the Eucharist, before the moral life of so many Christians became cold, the Virgin Mary as Our Mother, which she is, concerned about the salvation of all of her children, issued a very strong call to conversion of heart, issuing the following prophetic words that now have come to pass: “Many cardinals, many bishops and many priests are on the road to perdition and are taking many souls with them.” Those words were uttered in San Sebastián de Garabandal. This movie presents those facts. You can’t miss it!
